The Great Humongous Re-Knit
Some of you may have been wondering how can I possibly re-knit the Great Humongous Fairisle Sweater once it had already been steeked. Here is what the inside looks like. I washed all of the yarn. Then at the junction from front to back, I have loosely tied a knot. This will eventually be discarded when the steeks are sewn down each side of this line where the sleeves will be attached. I had enough leftover yarn that I was able to knit continuously until I reached the point where the sleeves will be attached. Capisce?
I have been trying to knit a couple of rows every day because I am dying to be done with this and desperately want to start a new project.
But this week I have a ton of computer work to do so it's likely that there won't be much creative craftiness going on. To ease the pain of sitting at my computer all day, I bought a new office chair at Ikea. The cats like the chair too and we are having a fight about who gets to sit it in.
